Went for japanese buffet in Jogoya@Starhill last Friday and ate till midnight!! haha.. Customers are not allowed to take pics of the array of food so most pics that i got are stuff from our plates.
A friend of mine has Jogoya's VIP card so i borrowed it and we get to pick the VIP food as well. Talk about huge king crab!! yumyum! Food is good but for the price of RM101, you should go with the VIP card to make it worth the cash :)

Work@Starbucks
Haven't been blogging regularly nowadays. There will probably be spiderwebs around the Lair at times but at least it's not infested with dead bodies yet(!) unlike SOME blogs i know *hint hint* :)
I'm in Starbucks now and if i'm there with my laptop, it's bad news. It means that i'm on a deadline or need to get things done without the distractions at home like the bed and the eps sitting on my harddisk.
We're on design stage right now and i'm expecting to be even busier when we enter the short 2 months build stage .
Back to work.. will post some pics later tonight if i'm done with my stuff :)

Coliseum
Went to Coliseum for dinner with the gang last night. Heard that they serve excellent sizzling steak and is one of the oldest steak place around. Gotta say that the food is indeed yummy!
I got quite a few great shots in there too. The old classic cafe interior and the people posting as if they're right out from the 60's era.. too cute! haha... checkout the food pics!
Thick and juicy steak.. yumyum.. make sure you get the English bread and butter to go with the gravy, it's a MUST!!!
The side dish
My mocktail - Boo Boo's Special -> a bit too sweet for my taste

Frasers Hill
Some photos from my trip to Frasers 2 weeks ago. Stayed for two days and spent most of the time jungle trekking. Almost got lost the first time.. haha.. well, we started late at 5.50pm thinking that we'll be out in 45 minutes max (Bishop Trail is about 1.5km)... about 6.35pm which is okay since it's not that dark yet by then. We were supposed to take a turn and exit Bishop Trail as the adjoining Maxwell Trail (1.8km) has been closed down after a few people got lost and made headline few months back.
Anyway, we took slow leisure walk and stopped for photos and darkness fell upon us faster than we thought. Saw a sign telling us 200m to exit. Cool, another 10 mins and we'll be out. 45 minutes later, we were still in the jungle and as we went forward, the trail became more difficult with a lot of stuff blocking the way - as if no one had been on it for a long time. Lotsa leeches too!! Not good. And it was already dark.
Only one of us brought a tiny torchlight so we checked the map again. Must have missed a turning and currently at the closed-down Maxwell Trail. At first we decided to go ahead but it was really dark and the jungle got thicker as no one had been there for ages after it was closed down. When we reached a forked path and wasn't sure which to take, that was that. Decided to backtrack. Summore there were so many leeches and i couldn't check my shoes in the dark. Had to go by feel and pull the suckers out when i felt them on my feet... Backtracking in the dark was better as we knew what to expect. Never been so glad to have full moonlight until that day! haha
Anyway, we got out fine.. except for the bloody feet. Did a few short trails the next day. Hemnant Trail, Abu Suradi Trail and Mayer Trail. Those are real easy trails. It was like a walk in the park after the night before. Besides that, visited some waterwalls and had a bit of archery fun. Nothing much else to do in Frasers. More of a nature trip. Gotta love highland's weather. Scenic drive downhill passing a dam - the name slips my mind.
I came back with 9 leeches bites and they still itch today!!! :P

Gross mushroom(?) on one of the fallen tree trunks in Bishop Trail
Taken from one of the short trails. Can't remember which one now.
One of the small waterfall on the way downhill.
Jeriau waterfall
Bought this cool plant back.. it's still surviving under my crappy care so far :D

Dopod 838 Pro
I think most people already know that i lost my O2 Mini when i was in HK and so i got myself a Dopod 838 Pro when i came back. Been using it for a while and my only complain is that it is SLOW!!
Can't tell if it's because of the inferior Samsung processor or if WM2005 is eating up all the resources. Heck, maybe both! Seriously, i feel the slowness immediately because my previous pdaphone responded faster. But then again, the Mini was on WM2003SE so i can't really compare the two. Anyhow, slow is slow!
Other than that, i'm happy with it. Wouldn't trade it for any other models in the market now or the 5 new upcoming models from Dopod either. Oh, and i played around with O2 Xda Stealth.. it's like rubber! Try picking it up and you'll feel like you're touching a tyre! *shudder*
Newayz, back to the 838 Pro, gotta looOOove the sliding keypad! :)
Taipei and Hong Kong Photos
Some photos as promised. They are all shot by hand cause tripod is too heavy to lug around the whole day. Night shots are especially tough with the DSLR. I refuse to use flash! Most of the time, i leveraged on a handbar or whatever flat surface that i can find.
They call it 'winter' at this time of the year. Most days are cloudy/misty/smoky/hazy. Anyhow, i lOOooooOOOve the weather in Taipei!!
Okay, here goes the pics! :)
Hong Kong Central
Hong Kong view from The Peak. Too bad it's rather misty or i'll be able to see the mainland as well.
Xinyi, Taipei - shopaholics haven! The entire street is full of malls connected by overhead bridges.
Danshui, Taipei - spent my last day cycling along the coast.
Nightview of Hong Kong Island, taken from mainland at Tsim Tsar Chui jetty, before going onto the ferry.
Nightview of the mainland, taken when i reached Wan Chai jetty in HK Island :)
Usual cloudy day at Hong Kong
The signboard cracked me up! All Destinations!!! LOL... well, i guess when you're at the end of an island, the other side *is* All Destinations!! kekeke
Taipei view from Yang Ming Mountain. Don't know which side of Taipei tho, maybe the suburb since there are not many skyscrapers around.
Evening shot - Taipei 101
That's all for now! Might post more tomorrow if i have the time. I came back with 2.14gigs of pics! kekeke

Food in Taipei and HK!
Stuff that i tried:
My half-eaten stinky tofu.. hehehe
Had this from Shilin Night Market. Mushroom glutinous rice. So-so only.
ooo, this is nice... they call it 'jian pau'. The outer layer is like the usual pau and the inside is like 'siew long pau' - pork with a little soup. Didn't know that the first time i ate it and had the soup burned my tongue and dripping all over.. yikes
A bit like Sze-chuan soup... with crab meat in it. So-so only.
Their corn is just weird. They dry it and then grill it with honey and scatter sesame seeds on top. It's the hardest corn i've ever had!!
The one with vege inside is really yummy!!
Had this in Taipei 101 foodcourt
I loOOooove this! Mango jelly in mango juice is my fav! Pure mango juice with cubes of fresh mango and jelly!! It's a chained dessert outlet with lotsa branches so i had this almost everyday in HK! Really miss it now!
Tall ice cream?! Lotsa stalls sell this in Danshui. Spent my last day there and love the place to bits!
-----------------------------------------------
Stuff that i passed by and did not try (cause i was too full at that time or it's available here too) :
Yeah, think we have this in Midvalley too.
Giant octopus balls.. haha... we have the smaller version in Jusco.
Another giant something (wantan?)
Fruitsss
When i first saw this, i was like, what the HECKK is that?!?!... then i saw the picture below it.... Chocolate-covered banana sprinkled with nuts!!! kekeke
